The throw is made in Spain by Ezcaray, a family-owned company that was founded in 1930 and has almost 100 years of experience weaving throws, textiles, and scarves. Fairbault Mill Pure & Simple Wool Blanket

Founded on the day the Civil War ended in 1865, Faribault Mill—in its “new” location along the town’s Cannon River since 1892—issues a limited-edition series of wool-and-cotton-blend throws, such as collections with artists (including Sičáŋǧu Lakota artist Dyani White Hawk’s collab). Its line of throws also exhibits a taste for tartan, buffalo check, and shadow plaid. Solid-hued blankets with satin trim range in shades from Admiral Blue (a bright blue) to Olive (sage-like), with striped and plaid designs are also featured. From 2009 to 2011, the mill closed, only to be revived by cousins Chuck and Paul Mooty, plus another family member.
